Renezvous

I wrote this piece during a stay at a famous Australian rehab, where, I met this beautiful woman.

We had an amazing and wild relationship during our treatment there. It taught me a great deal about myself and about addictive, co-dependant relationships, although I chose to lie for the majority of the program! Unsurprisingly, we went our separate ways after leaving the program and I had a slip (used), then went back into another long term rehab for another 9 months!

Rendezvous

A fair lady, met, late at night
Gentle eyes sparkled in moonlight
Softly spoken words, whispers in my ear
Closed hearts together, bodies quite near

Sentiments warm exchange
Of dreams and of fears
Hearts bound to change
Time heeds no tears

Love lost in life's tempest
Man given his best
Left, now to the Creator
Man's will, now to rest.

Glad to see you posting again! Your poetry is the best! Thanks for sharing this and your heart with your readers. HE is able and we are "but dust" is one of my hubby's favorite quotes from the Word. I know HE will see you through (Jesus is able and there and wonderful!) May you cling closely to His most capable hand!
